NEW YORK Piping Technology & Products Inc. is facing $199,800 in penalties after a worker was struck by a broken die piece on a mechanical press at the companys Houston facility.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has accused Piping Technology of three serious violations for allegedly failing to secure a fuel gas cylinder, use undamaged slings for lifting and moving equipment and provide strain relief....
