W. Coast flat-rolled pressure continues

LOS ANGELES Upward pressure continues on West Coast flat-rolled prices as one of the regions major producers has cut off February orders for galvanized sheet just one business day after it opened the month.
California Steel Industries Inc. (CSI), Fontana, Calif., told customers Dec. 16 that its February order book for galvanized sheet is "now closed," although it continues to take orders for other products, including hot-rolled, hot-rolled pickled and oiled, and cold-rolled sheet.....
