Aluminum boat builder to construct new plant in NC

CHICAGO Welded aluminum boat manufacturer Armstrong Marine Inc. plans to open a production plant near Swansboro, N.C.
The Port Angeles, Wash.-based company, which will invest $8.4 million in the project, said it needs a new plant to keep up with growing demand and also to avoid high shipping costs to customers on the Eastern Seaboard.....
