Blanton exits PSC for Columbus Scrap Material

PITTSBURGH — Troy Blanton is joining Columbus Scrap Material Co. Inc. as vice president of commercial effective Jan. 1.

Blanton arrives from Mayfield Heights, Ohio-based PSC Metals Inc., where he spent nearly 18 years, most recently as vice president of commercial. He will report to Gregg Rader, the company’s president, and relocate to Columbus Scrap’s headquarters in Columbus, Miss.

"We had a strong interest in expanding our business in several different areas. Troy, with his years of business in the scrap industry, will be an asset in helping us reach those new goals," Columbus Scrap executive Robert Craig told AMM.

Columbus Scrap has five yards in the Southeast.
