Sherritt to sell coal business, focus on Ambatovy ramp-up

NEW YORK Sherritt International Corp. is selling its coal business for Canadian $946 million ($890.4 million).
"It simplifies our asset portfolio to concentrate on our core strengths, enhances our liquidity and provides us with the opportunity to reduce our debt," David Pathe, Sherritts president and chief executive officer, said in a statement Dec. 24.....
