Mississippi Silicon to build $200M facility

IRVINE, Calif. Mississippi Silicon plans to build a $200-million silicon metal production facility in Burnsville, Miss., state development officials said.
A partnership between Rima Holdings USA Inc. and U.S. investment group Clean Tech I LLC, the new plant will make silicon metal for the aluminum, automotive and chemical sectors, among others, the Mississippi Development Authority said Dec.....
