N. American metals, energy shipments via rail up in 2013

CHICAGO North American shipments of energy and metals-related commodities by railroad improved a mere 0.2 percent from the previous year, according to data from the Association of American Railroads.
Annual shipments of metallic ores and metals fell 2.1 percent from 2012 while coal shipments fell 3.6 percent in the same comparison.....
