ZincOx eyes turnaround on zinc prices

LONDON Steel dust recycler ZincOx Resources Plc is hoping that efforts to resolve production issues, combined with a rally in zinc prices, will make 2014 a turnaround year for the company.
Bagshot, England-based ZincOx owns a zinc recycling plant in South Korea that utilizes an adapted steel recycling technology to recover zinc oxide and iron from electric-arc furnace dust.
The proprietary technology is claimed to be a more economical alternative to existing zinc recycling processes, but since achieving first production in 2012 the company has suffered several technical setbacks that have led to production stoppages and delayed the ramp-up process.....
