Court affirms ITC ruling on Brazil, Japan sheet

NEW YORK The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has upheld a U.S. International Trade Commission decision that revoked anti-dumping duties on hot-rolled sheet from Brazil and Japan, according to court documents filed Jan. 15.
The appeal dates back to 2011, when the ITC voted to remove dumping duties on hot-rolled steel from Brazil and Japan (amm.com, May 19, 2011). Petitioners ArcelorMittal USA LLC, Chicago, U.S. Steel Corp., Pittsburgh, and Nucor Corp., Charlotte, N.C., filed....
