Evraz tube production up in N. America

NEW YORK Evraz Inc. North Americas fourth-quarter tubular production posted strong gains, but output at its flat-rolled segment fell due to the idling of its Claymont, Del., plate mill.
Tubular output by the North American subsidiary of London-based Evraz Plc totaled 273,000 tonnes in the quarter, up 19.2 percent from 229,000 tonnes in the previous quarter, with average selling prices of $1,301 per tonne, while flat-rolled steel output fell 11.4 percent to 210,000 tonnes from 237,000 tonnes with average selling prices of $847 per tonne in the same period.....
