PITTSBURGH — Steel industry veteran Thomas Marchak has been named national account executive at Columbus Scrap Material Co.

The position at the Columbus, Miss.-based scrap metals recycler and processor is a departure for Marchak, who is well known in the finished flat-rolled steel arena.

Marchak, who started in his position earlier this month, reports to company president Gregg Rader at Columbus Scrap’s headquarters in Columbus.
