US zorba export prices steady

NEW YORK — U.S. export prices for zorba, a nonferrous auto shred, have remained relatively stable over the past week, although exporters cautioned that weakening terminal markets coupled with the onset of the Chinese New Year Jan. 31 could lower prices over the next week.

Material with 94- to 95-percent metallic content remains unchanged at 73 to 75 cents per pound, while 90- to 92-percent material is holding at 70 to 71 cents, sources said.....
