CarTech expects uptick in titanium sales

LOS ANGELES Carpenter Technology Corp.s titanium sales fell in its fiscal second quarter, partly due to low prices, but it expects demand to improve later in the year.
The Wyomissing, Pa.-based companys titanium sales, not including surcharges, for the three months ended Dec. 31 totaled $33.8 million, down 7.4 percent from $36.5 million in the same year-ago period, the company said in its earnings report.....
