AISI outlines public policy plan for steel in '14

NEW YORK The American Iron and Steel Institute will target the need for energy, environmental and trade reforms to help ensure U.S. steelmakers gain leverage when competing on a global scale, it said in an outline of its public policy agenda for 2014.
Among top concerns for the trade association include promoting a strong U.S. trade policy, particularly in dealing with foreign governments that subsidize their industries.....
