Evraz Stratcor plant begins slag processing

NEW YORK Evraz Stratcor Inc. has begun processing vanadium-bearing steelmaking slag at its Hot Springs, Ark., facility after completing a $7-million expansion at the plant.
The expansion improved the plants leaching and reagent systems so that it can process roasted steelmaking slag and other vanadium feedstocks, Evraz Stratcor said in a Feb. 6 press release.....
