Lawmaker unveils website to fight metal theft

NEW YORK Arkansas state Rep. Kim Hammer has unveiled a metal theft reporting tool on his website intended to improve information-gathering in support of possible future legislation.
The web page is not intended to be a substitute for reporting a crime to law enforcement, Hammer said in a post on his website, but rather to overcome some of the obstacles faced by authorities in compiling such data.....
