Glencore’s zinc output slides 16.1% in 4th qtr.

SINGAPORE Glencore Xstrata Plcs zinc production fell 16.1 percent year on year to 336,800 tonnes in the fourth quarter, as declines were recorded in its North American and Kazakhstan operations.
For 2013, zinc output was down 8.7 percent year on year to nearly 1.4 million tonnes as the Perseverance and Brunswick mines in Canada reached the end of their mine lives, the company said in a production report Feb. 11.....
