Atlantic halts ferrovanadium output due to fire

NEW YORK A fire at Atlantic Ltd.s Windimurra vanadium operations in Western Australia caused "extensive" damage to the beneficiation plant and the facility has yet to resume ferrovanadium production.
Engineering teams are being assembled to fully assess damage from the Feb. 4 fire and develop detailed rectification plans, with production of ferrovanadium suspended while the assessment is carried out, the Perth, Australia-based company said in a statement Feb. 11.....
