Rolls-Royce unit in $1B deal to build engines

LOS ANGELES A U.S. unit of Rolls-Royce Plc has signed a long-term agreement worth $1 billion with Lockheed Martin Corp. to deliver about 600 engines for the C130J Super Hercules military transport.
The companys Rolls-Royce AE 2100 turboprop engines will power all variants of the four-engine C130J until 2025. The engine agreement will service U.S. government and international contract requirements between 2014 and 2018.....
