California recycler faces criminal charges

PITTSBURGH Prosecutors in two California counties have filed criminal complaints against the owner of Recycle Depot Inc. for allegedly allowing contaminants to escape while recycling appliances.
The district attorneys in Kings and Tulare counties are accusing Jeffrey A. Prins, owner of the Visalia-based company, of violating hazardous waste laws at its two facilities in Hanford and a third facility in Visalia.....
