OSHA cites Wire Mesh Sales after fatal accident

NEW YORK Wire Mesh Sales LLC is facing Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) penalties totaling $697,000 in the wake of an accident that led to the death of a 32-year-old machine helper last August.
Luis Rey Rivera Pavia was struck and killed by a part that feeds wire into the welding area of a wire mesh manufacturing machine, OSHA said in a statement, claiming that proper operation of the machines guards would have saved his life.....
