RI recycler pulls out of lawsuit against Sims Metal division

PITTSBURGH One of the plaintiffs in a Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (Rico) Act lawsuit against Sims Metal Management Ltd.s New England division has pulled out of the litigation.
Providence-based Rhode Island Recycled Metals LLC (RIRM) has withdrawn its claim that Sims was manipulating its scales and underpaying recyclers, according to documents filed in U.S. District Court in Rhode Island.....
