Nickel, copper output boosts profits at Lundin

NEW YORK Lundin Mining Corp. attributed positive 2013 financial results to nickel and copper output that exceeded the companys production guidance, as well as lead and zinc output that met targets, the mining company said in its year-end earnings report Feb. 20.
Toronto-based Lundin said copper and nickel output exceeded the high end of our production guidance, thanks in part to higher throughput at its Neves-Corvo Mine in Portugal, which resulted in better than expected copper production. ....
