Commerce initiates China wire rod probe

NEW YORK — The U.S. Commerce Department has initiated anti-dumping and countervailing inquiries on imports of carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from China, according to a Feb. 21 statement.
A coalition of domestic producers filed the trade case in late January (amm.com, Jan. 31). ....
