PITTSBURGH A Syracuse, N.Y., scrap recycling institution equipped with an auto shredder is shutting its doors after more than a century in the business.
Roth Steel Corp. was closing and would no longer buy scrap after Feb. 27, an employee confirmed to AMM, but it was unclear whether the company might try to reopen at some point. There are between 20 and 25 workers at....
