Navistar shifting mid-range engine production to Ill.

NEW YORK Commercial truck maker Navistar International Corp. plans to shift production of its mid-range engines to Melrose Park, Ill., from Huntsville, Ala., by this summer in an effort to consolidate capacity.
The Lisle, Ill.-based company said it will continue to produce large diesel engines for heavy-duty trucks at its big-bore plant in Huntsville.
The consolidation is the latest step in a plan to grow return on invested capital and improve overall financial performance, a company spokeswoman told AMM.....
