Ferrous scrap export prices flat as sales freeze

NEW YORK U.S. ferrous scrap bulk export prices remained unchanged over the past week as a lack of demand resulted in no sales activity.
Bids and offers for shipments to such countries as Turkey and South Korea held within previously transacted price ranges, market participants said, but failed to produce any bookings as mill buyers and exporters look for indications on where prices will move next.
Several Turkish market participants said they will monitor developments in Ukraine as the country, along with Russia, is a major supplier of ferrous scrap and billet to Turkey.....
