Tokyo Steel scrap buy prices near 7-month low

TOKYO Tokyo Steel Manufacturing Co. Ltd. has further reduced its ferrous scrap buying prices for deliveries to its main Utsunomiya Works, putting tags at a nearly seven-month low.
Japans largest electric-arc furnace operator and effective benchmark price-setter lowered its scrap buying prices for deliveries to Utsunomiya by 1,000 yen ($10) per tonne. This puts the scrap purchasing price for the plant at 32,000 yen ($314) per tonne effective with March 5 deliveries.....
