Steel sheet prices continue to slide

NEW YORK Steel sheet prices continued to slide this week on short lead times, falling raw material costs and the threat of imports, although some sources indicated that a bottom could be near.
"Everyone Ive talked to is busy and Im starting to believe were towards the low on pricing," one Midwest service center source said. "With everyone being so busy and import offers being curtailed, I think well see a rebound sometime in April. Plus, nonres(idential construction) is going to pick up."....
