Turkeyusually the largest offshore consumer of U.S. ferrous scrapaccounted for just 151,163 tonnes in January, down 68.7 percent from 483,170 tonnes in the same month last year, according to the latest data from the U.S. Commerce Department.....
NEW YORK U.S. ferrous scrap exports are off to a poor start this year as volumes plummeted in January, driven by weak interest from Turkey.
