NEW YORK Legislation that would extend Kentucky state incentives could help AK Steel Corp. pay for a reline of the blast furnace at its Ashland steelmaking complex.
The Kentucky Industrial Revitalization Act (Kira) was about to expire for supplemental projects and we hope (AK Steel) takes advantage of the (two-year) extension of those incentives to do things like reline the furnace and other upgrades, state Rep. Tanya Pullin, the bills sponsor, told AMM. ....
