ThyssenKrupp fires up coil processing plant

NEW YORK ThyssenKrupp Materials NA Inc.s $15-million coil processing and distribution facility in Woodstock, Ala., has begun shipping carbon steel, stainless and aluminum product to customers in the automotive, power transmission, heavy truck and food processing industries.
The 100,000-square-foot plant, which is equipped with two cut-to-length lines and a 72-inch-wide slitter, predominantly serves automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) across the southern United States.....
