CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Aluminicaste Fundición de México S de RL de CV is looking to expand into the United States and Europe after carving out a niche for its products in Mexico, Central America and South America, a company executive said.

The San José Iturbide, Mexico-based producer of secondary billet, slab and forging billet is currently rolling out both trial and production quantities for customers in the “coastal South” of the United States, from Florida to California, North American sales director Neil Johnson told AMM.

“We can cover the whole hemisphere pretty efficiently, and plus we’re looking a little bit toward Europe because we can get there from Mexico,” he said in an interview on the sidelines of the Aluminum Extruders Council’s annual meeting and leadership conference March 20 in Coral Gables.....
