Noranda directors resign, shares tumble

CHICAGO Two Noranda Aluminum Holding Corp. directors have resigned, one of them a senior partner at major stakeholder Apollo Global Management LLC, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Gareth Turner, who was assigned to Norandas board by Apollo, and Columbia University senior executive vice president Robert A. Kasdin resigned effective March 26, according to the filing.
Turner is a senior partner with Apollo, overseeing its investments in the metals and mining industries, according to the companys website.....
