Junk wheel prices slip as supply picks up

NEW YORK Scrap aluminum wheel prices continued to roll lower March 31 on fluctuations in U.S. Midwest aluminum premiums coupled with a recent uptick in supply generated by inclement weather in February and March, sources said.
Free-market transaction prices for 356.1 wheels are between 84 and 86 cents per pound, down a cent on the low end from March 18, traders said.....
