NEW YORK U.S. Steel Corp. has named a new senior vice president and chief technology officer, in addition to other managerial appointments.
David L. Britten was promoted to the newly created position of senior vice president and chief technology officer. Britten, 53, joined U.S. Steel in 2011 as vice president of tubular technology and business development, and was named senior vice president of tubular operations in 2013.
