Anglo American may target copper investment in Africa

SANTIAGO, Chile Anglo American Plc may consider investing in copper assets in Africa, according to a company executive.
"Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo are difficult conditions to operate in but we are used to difficult conditions in many areas and we see Africa as a good region for investment, specifically for copper," Hennie Faul, chief executive officer of the London-based companys copper division, told AMM during the Center for Copper and Mining Studies annual Cesco Week in Santiago.....
