Codelco at key step in financing talks

SANTIAGO, Chile Corporación Nacional del Cobre de Chile (Codelco) is working on annual negotiations for future Chilean government financing, discussions that could have taken on more importance this year due to where the company stands in its investment program.
While negotiations take place every year between the Chilean state-owned companys board and representatives of the statethe ministers of finance and miningthe copper miner was at a key juncture in its plans for future growth, chief executive officer Thomas Keller told AMM during the Center for Copper and Mining Studies annual Cesco Week in Santiago.....
