NEW YORK — Allegheny Technologies Inc. is increasing various product prices for May.

Stainless steel base prices will rise effective May 5 for all 200- and 300-series grades, as well as for 430-grade alloy, across a number of product categories, the specialty steel producer said April 10.

Cold-rolled sheet, strip and precision-rolled strip forms, hot-rolled and cold-rolled tubular quality sheet and strip products, and bright-annealed and tempered sheet, strip and precision-rolled strip will be affected, the Pittsburgh-based company said.....
