Improving weather boosts zinc premiums

NEW YORK Special-high-grade zinc premiums edged up this past week amid improving weather conditions, market participants said.
AMMs delivered premiums rose to between 9 and 10 cents April 17 from 9 to 9.5 cents previously. The benchmark No. 3 and No. 7 alloy premiums increased to 19 to 20 cents per pound from 18 to 20 cents previously, while No. 8 alloy rose to 22 to 24 cents per pound from 21 to 23 cents.....
