Mexico may issue lax emissions plan: RSR

NEW YORK Lead-acid battery recycler RSR Corp. is concerned about an upcoming proposal on lead emissions standards in Mexico, citing significant gaps in the countrys regulatory framework and dangers to human health and the environment.
According to RSR, Mexicos environmental protection agency might issue a proposal that would set limits for lead emissions from the exhaust stacks of secondary smelters that are 140 times higher than current limits in the United States.....
