Synalloy eyes 2014 pickup in metals, pricing

NEW YORK Synalloy Corp. expects market activity in its metals segment to pick up in 2014, while pricing should also firm up compared with last year.
"We expect to see gradual improvements throughout 2014 with increased quoting activity and new project startups," the Spartanburg, S.C.-based company said in its first-quarter earnings statement.....
