NAS sets production record to meet higher consumption

NEW YORK North American Stainless Inc. (NAS) achieved record production levels in the first quarter, parent company Acerinox SA said in its quarterly earnings report.
Stainless steel consumption in North America increased "around 8 percent" in the first quarter, Acerinox said, spurring record production from the Ghent, Ky.-based steelmaker. ....
