Anfield Nickel agrees to sell main asset

NEW YORK — Anfield Nickel Corp. has agreed to sell Guatemalan subsidiary Mayaniquel SA and its nickel laterite project to ferronickel producer Cunico Resources NV.

The move will see the Vancouver, British Columbia-based miner divest its primary asset.

Amsterdam-based Cunico Resources will pay Anfield $15 million in annual installments of $3 million, plus a final payment of $28 million on the fifth anniversary of the closing date, subject to adjustment based on average nickel prices at the time.....
