Southern Copper output up, but profits still dip

NEW YORK Southern Copper Corp.s copper production jumped in the first quarter, due in part to higher recoveries from its Toquepala and Cuajone mines in Peru and its Buenavista Mine in Mexico.
Copper output of 163,168 tonnes for the three months ended March 31 rose 9.2 percent year on year from 149,485 tonnes.....
