Fields to succeed Mulally at Ford helm

NEW YORK Ford Motor Co. has tapped Mark Fields to take the companys helm, succeeding Alan Mulally, who is retiring as president and chief executive officer July 1, the company said May 1.
Mulally, 68, is retiring after nearly eight years leading Ford and capping a 45-year career, the company said.....
