AIST taps SDI’s Pushis as new president

INDIANAPOLIS Glenn Pushis, vice president and general manager of Steel Dynamics Inc.s (SDIs) flat-roll division, is slated to become president of the Association for Iron and Steel Technology (AIST).
The tenure of Terry G. Fedor II, executive vice president of U.S. iron ore at Cleveland-based Cliffs Natural Resources Inc., will end at the conclusion of the annual AISTech conference and exposition May 5 through 8 in Indianapolis. "Im confident that my successor ... will provide strong leadership as the organization continues to advance steel manufacturing technology," Fedor said during an awards breakfast May 6.....
