Worker deaths halt output at Lockerby

NEW YORK First Nickel Inc. has halted production at its Lockerby Mine near Sudbury, Ontario, after two workers died in an underground accident.
A fall of material that killed Marc Methe, 34, and Norm Bissaillon, 49, drillers with contractor Taurus Drilling Services, "was preceded by seismic activity, which is believed to have been a factor in the incident," First Nickel president and chief....
