Some copper scrap spreads tick up

NEW YORK Spreads on some grades of copper scrap widened slightly this week as the terminal market experienced an upswing, market participants said.
However, the discount for No. 1 copper scrap sold to brass mills remained at zero to 2 cents, with that for No. 1 bare bright sold to ingot makers narrowing to the same range from 1 to 3 cents previously due to strong demand across all segments of the United....
