West Coast flat-rolled prices may be peaking

LOS ANGELES Flat-rolled steel prices on the West Coast may be topping out as buyers now speculate whether tags will hold steady or begin to decline this summer.
"I expect pricing for July to be flat" vs. June, one service center buyer said, reflecting the outlook of others in his industry. "Its not very exciting out there."
California Steel Industries Inc. (CSI), Fontana, Calif., told customers this week it has closed its June order book on hot-rolled, hot-rolled pickled and oiled, cold-rolled and galvanized sheet.....
